A Half Day Out on the Wye: a guided trip on a truly iconic stretch of water

Our choices of trip will always be reviewed when we’ve considered the group's aspirations, the water levels, and the weather, but we anticipate paddling a section of what Mark Rainsley’s guidebook describes as “one of the finest trips on the River Wye” 😊

This short jaunt starts at our base for the weekend on the edge of Hay-on-Wye. The trip gives stunning views out across the Black Mountains, and passes by the stone ruins of Clifford Castle before concluding at the double stone arches of Whitney Bridge – which dates to 1802.
