It provides a different out door experience, unlike most ‘centre’ activities it requires very little skill, which means that less time is spent learning and more time is spent going places and doing things. With its inherent group control the session is not limited by the natural variation within a groups ability to acquire a skill, suggested activities include:

• Team building, Primary school ~ Management school.
• Journeys, around the lake ~ camping trips.
• Orienteering, racing & games.
• Pond dipping ~ Geographical surveys.

The KataKanu allows great instructor ratios and staffing flexibility. High dependency groups can have instructors on board. With low dependency groups, up to 3 boats could be supervised by one instructor in canoe / Kayak / or safety boat.
