This destruction team could not sink or capsize the KataKanu but they could paddle it home
|
My first priority in designing the KataKanu was to make a craft that would be friendly and exciting for the
more vulnerable members of society without having to expose their fear of the water or physical disabilities
& still appeal to the intrepid type of person. The result is an extremely sociable boat that requires more
teamwork than bravado.
Most centres will raft open canoes from time to time, the KataKanu is much stiffer & faster, very buoyant even
when swamped & the deep hulls give good resistance to lateral drift making it easy to
handle on windy days much,
much easier than a Canadian style canoe or raft, above all it looks like a boat!!
